Indexing/Coding
There are a number of ways to capture critical data, i.e. Name, Employee-ID, Document Type, Date, Author, Recipient, CC, Title, Subject, etc., from a document set. One way is to manually index information from an image (data entry) and another is to electronically populate information from an existing source, i.e. spreadsheets, databases, Word tables, and other document management systems, using barcode technology or post-process integration. Our ability to leverage existing data translates into cost savings for clients by reducing the amount of traditional manual indexing. Scanwerks ensures that all data is (i) visually checked for quality and (ii) normalized for consistency. The outcome is a higher quality data which directly improves the accuracy of search results and efficiency in locating documents. Scanwerks offers both domestic and offshore coding to provide pricing appropriate to each project. |
